Your privacy and the security of your research are our absolute top priorities. As researchers ourselves, we know how critical data confidentiality is before a paper is published.

1. AI Training & Data Usage

PaperPilot DOES NOT use your unpublished research data to train our foundational models. When you input your Topic, Method, and Results into our platform, we send it to our LLM providers via secure API channels with strict zero-retention policies. Your intellectual property remains yours.

2. Data Storage

All your generated papers, abstracts, and account information are stored securely via Firebase (Google Cloud). Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Only you have access to your saved dashboard files through Google Authentication.

3. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and manage your local generation limits (for the free demo tier). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
